    TUNE-UP: Clean, lube chain, shifters/brake cables, seat post/clamp, brake boss and pedals; adjust shifter (derailleurs)/brake cables. Test shifting and braking. Check and adjust rear shock. True wheels.

    REPAIR/MAINTENANCE: Clean and repack: headset, cranks (bottom bracket), hubs and pivot points; clean rim brake surfaces with light sanding - 200 grit.

    REPLACE: Tires/tubes, front shock and brake pads.

    TOOLS?????

    SAVE MONEY and TROUBLE: Invest on a used entry level mountain bike. Check the above prices at your LBS and be surprised.
